Today, in Apr 2024 ...

Hello, a warm welcome to you!

I was diagnosed with bone marrow cancer (multiple myeloma) in April 2021; this was followed by an intensive year of treatments. I didn’t update the blog between April 2022 and February 2024 because I was able to lead an almost “normal” life during this time. However, the illness came back in Sept. 2023.

Throughout this time, I have increasingly found support and encouragement in the Bible and in my personal faith in God and His beloved Son Jesus Christ. He has been my Lord and Savior for a long time, but especially in the first phase of the illness I experienced his grace, closeness, gentleness and love much more deeply than in the times when everything was fine. I am very grateful to him for that.

I hope my story motivates and inspires you to find strength in faith in the Lord Jesus Christ (not only) in difficult times. Thank you for visiting my blog. You are welcome to leave me a comment or write to me at the address given in the Impressum.
